Unique Chess Session in Support of Ukraine’s Defense Forces
For the third time in Lviv region, a unique simultaneous chess session will take place involving legendary international grandmasters — in support of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

The event will be held at the Lviv Art Palace on Wednesday, April 23.
“You can expect a true celebration of intellect and patriotism. World-class grandmasters will showcase their skills on the chessboards: Marta Litynska, Oleksandr Beliavsky, Adrian Mikhalchyshyn, Oleh Romanishin, and the Lviv resident-Icelander Margeir Petursson. More than 100 participants will join the game, including military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, veterans, border guards, medics, rescuers, wounded warriors, cadets, children, and beginners,” the organizers noted.

All funds raised will be donated to the volunteer organization ‘Lviv Knight,’ which provides our defenders with innovative technical tools at the front.
