In the Lviv region, a unique opportunity has arisen to witness a historic event in the world of sports, namely the holding of the first Championship of Ukraine in inclusive sambo. The event has gathered nearly 800 participants from all over the country who will compete in various age categories, selecting the best in sports and combat sambo.
In addition to the main competitions, a separate emphasis is placed on inclusive sambo, where athletes with special needs, including veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, demonstrate their skills. Lviv region not only graciously hosts the national competitions but has also become a center for the development of inclusive sambo within the regional project ‘League of the Unbroken,’ which actively promotes the social adaptation of veterans.
We wish all participants inexhaustible inspiration, strength of spirit, and bright victories. We hope that based on the results of the competitions, the team formed will represent Ukraine honorably at the European Championship, which will take place in Cyprus in April.
