The competition took place on the Black Cheremosh River near the village of Dzembronia in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The tournament lasted for five days, from April 30 to May 4.
A team from Lviv Oblast’s State Emergency Service also competed here. These are representatives of the mountain search and rescue unit of the special purpose emergency rescue squad: Vitaliy Branets, Vadym Horlov, Ihor Pushkar, and Vasyl Shtapinets.
According to the results of the tournament, the rescuers, in the catamaran-four (C-4) boat class, won the gold medal in the overall standings. They also took first place in the rally – long race, sprint – short race and slalom.
