The XIX Summer Universiade of Judo of Ukraine was held in Ternopil from April 25 to 27. More than 115 men and 50 women, representing 40 institutions of higher education from 16 regions of Ukraine, took part in the competition.
On the first competition day, individual competitions among women took place. The representatives of the Lviv Oblast achieved the following results in the weight categories:
🥈 up to 52 kg, Solomiya SHIPKA, student of Lviv Polytechnic University, took 2nd place
🥇 up to 63 kg, Tetyana DMYTRIV, student of NU “Lviv Polytechnic” took 1st place
🥇 up to 70 kg, Olga TSYMKO, a student of LDUFK named after I. Boberskyi
🥉up to 63 kg, Alevtyna BUGA, a student of I. Bobersky LDUFK, took 3rd place
Among men in weight categories:
🥇up to 66 kg, Andriy KAMINSKY, student of I. Bobersky LDUFK took 1st place
🥈 up to 66 kg, Danylo GRABOVETSKY, student of I. Boberskyi LDUFK, took 2nd place
🥈 up to 81 kg took 2nd place Stanislav KORCHEMLYUK, student of Lviv Polytechnic University
🥈 up to 90 kg took 2nd place Yaroslav MYKHALYUK, a student of I. Bobersky LDUFC
🥉 up to 90 kg, Artem HRYCHAN, student of Lviv Polytechnic University, took 3rd place.
🥉🥉 On the second day, team competitions “wall to wall” were held, where our team was among the men
The Lviv State University of Physical Culture took 3rd place, and among women, 3rd place was shared by the teams of the West Ukrainian National University and the national team of the Lviv region.
🥇 Lviv State University of Physics took 1st place in the overall team ranking among institutions of higher education of the first category
culture and sports named after Ivan Bobersky.
🥇Lviv Polytechnic National University took 1st place in the overall team standings among institutions of higher education of the third category.
🥈 2nd place in the overall team standings among institutions of higher education of the third category was won by Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko.
🥈 2nd place in the overall team standings among institutions of higher education of the fourth category was taken by the Western Ukrainian National University.
🥈 2nd place in the overall team standings among institutions of higher education of the fifth category was shared by the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs and the Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S. Z. Gzhidskyi.
🥉 Western Ukrainian National University took 3rd place in the overall team standings among higher education institutions (885.5 points).
In the overall team championship among the regions, Lviv region won (1527 points), Sumy region took second place (1410.5 points), Khmelnytsky region took third place (1034 points).
