In Lviv, at the archery field of the Lviv Regional Organisation of the Dynamo Sports Society of Ukraine on 10 Yaneva Street, the Ukrainian Archery Championship for adult athletes is taking place. The competition will run from 11 to 14 August and is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the founding in Lviv in 1931 of the International Archery Federation.
Two hundred of the country’s best male and female archers from 18 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv are competing for medals in the national championships. The tournament has brought together the nation’s leading athletes, who are competing in various disciplines of this Olympic sport.
The President of the All-Ukrainian Archery Federation has established a prize fund of 70,000 UAH for the winners and medallists of the championship. The organisation and running of the competition are overseen by the relevant sports bodies, in particular the Lviv federations and regional institutions.
