This was announced by the head of the Lviv region, Maksym Kozytskyi.
According to him, the goal of the event was to raise UAH 200,000 to buy a DJI Mavic 3T thermal imaging drone for the soldiers of the legendary 80th separate airborne assault Galician brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Together, we managed to surpass this goal even before the race started. We have already raised over UAH 300 thousand and the fundraising continues!
“I would like to congratulate our soldiers of the 80th Brigade on their professional holiday – the Day of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones,” said Maksym Kozytskyi.
It should also be noted that Ruslan Paneziorov, a combat officer who has been defending Ukraine for more than 10 years, took part in the race. In 2014, he liberated Sloviansk, in March 2022 he defended Mykolaiv, took part in the counter-offensive in Kharkiv region, and in the battles near Bakhmut and Klishchiyivka.
