The head of the Lviv Regional Youth Center, Solomiya Loginska, participated in an educational visit to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
Youth workers from various regions of Ukraine, who contribute to the development of youth work in communities despite the challenging conditions of war, took part in the event. The program included familiarization with the activities of the Council of Europe, work with experts and representatives of international institutions, visiting the European Court of Human Rights and the Palace of Europe, and discussing the role of youth policy in wartime conditions.
During the visit, participants exchanged experiences on the protection of children’s rights, the recovery of Ukraine, support for youth centers, and involving youth in decision-making. Representatives of the Council of Europe shared European practices of youth participation in democratic processes, and the Ukrainian delegation presented their own experience working with youth during the war.
“This educational visit was a valuable opportunity for me to learn about international youth policy practices and to exchange experiences with colleagues from different regions of Ukraine. The knowledge and contacts gained will help further develop youth work in Lviv region more effectively and create new opportunities for our youth,” said Solomiya Loginska.
The event facilitated strengthening international cooperation and exchange of ideas, which will enhance the effectiveness of youth policy in Ukraine.
