Near the waterfall, there are equipped rest areas and viewing platforms. On the way to the waterfall, you can ascend to the Dead Lake, or as it is also called, Crane Lake, which is rich in hydrogen sulfide, hence no living organisms inhabit it. - Gurkalo Waterfall
Height of the waterfall — 5 meters.
Location: 49.084433, 23.472565
Located on the Velika Rika River (a tributary of the Striy River) near the town of Skole. The waterfall consists of one cascade, divided by a rocky outcrop into two streams, one of which is significantly more water-laden than the other. In dry seasons, the lesser stream almost disappears. At the foot of the waterfall, there is a small lake about 10 m in diameter, with a water depth of up to 2 m. Gurkalo lives up to its name when, after intensive rains, the waters of the Velika Rika reach a peak, and the water stream rushes down from the slopes of the Parashka ridge, cascading over rocks with a great roar.
