A two-day intensive for young creative entrepreneurs took place in Lviv

On November 28 and 29, an Entrepreneurship Camp was held in Lviv for students of institutions of vocational higher and vocational education in the Lviv region. For two days, young people mastered entrepreneurial skills under the tutelage of successful businessmen of the region.

87 students and 18 teachers took part in this educational event from the NGO Junior Achievement Ukraine (JA Ukraine). In the 2023-2024 academic year, international programs were launched in vocational schools and colleges in such cities as Lviv, Boryslav, Kamianka-Buzka, Novy Rozil, Novoyavorivsk, Rava-Ruska, Sambir, Stryi, Turka, Ugniv, Dobrotvir.

“The peculiarity of all training programs of our organization, including the two-day intensive “Entrepreneurship Camp” is the practical joint work of the participants. With the support of business mentors, student teams learn to identify, develop and present their own business ideas,” said Vera Drugova, program manager of Junior Achievement Ukraine.

The main principle of the Entrepreneurship Camp is learning through practice. For this, its participants created teams that generated and analyzed their business ideas. Mentors from successful companies in the region helped the youth in this: Larisa Baranova, trainer for the development of creative thinking, Vlada Bedrata, business mediator, expert in negotiations and conflict resolution, Inna Todoryuk, psychologist, speech and language therapist, Victor Turkevich, director of Financial Broker.
