Firefighters Saved a House from Being Destroyed by Fire

In the Sheptytskyi district, firefighters saved a residential house from being destroyed by fire.

On November 5th at 21:33, the Rescue Service ‘101’ received a report of a fire in the village of Perespa on Shevchenko Street, Sheptytskyi district. The fire broke out in a one-story brick residential building.

Local firefighting teams from Spasiv and the fire-rescue unit from Sokal were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the house was filled with thick smoke. Household items, a refrigerator, a freezer, and a wooden floor were burning over an area of 3 square meters.

Thanks to the coordinated actions of the firefighters, the fire was quickly localized and prevented from spreading to the entire building. The fire was localized at 22:10 and extinguished at 22:19.

The firefighting involved 3 rescuers and 1 unit of special equipment from the State Emergency Service, as well as 3 workers and 1 unit of equipment from local fire brigades. Experts are determining the causes and circumstances of this event.
