The Lviv studio Hologryph has announced the Sand video game. In it, Galicians colonize space:
As Bird In Flight writes, the events in the game take place in 1910 on a distant planet in an alternative past. Alternatively, because according to the plot, humanity has discovered new sources of energy in space.
According to the plot, the Austro-Hungarian Empire became the leader of interplanetary colonization. The characters come from Galicia. This is a region of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, populated mainly by Ukrainians and Poles. They set out to colonize Sophie’s planet, which has suffered from an environmental disaster. Players will travel the world on giant tramplers, machines that serve as a home and transport.
The game has been in the works for over two years. The exact release date of Sand is not yet known. However, the game can already be added to the Steam wishlist.
