As part of the Easter season, heartfelt and creative workshops were held at the Sokal branch of the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion, “Human. Earth. Universe.” These events became a celebration of unity, culture, and hope in challenging times.
🌿 The Ukrainian Easter egg, or pysanka, is not only a festive symbol but also a powerful talisman — representing life, good health, and kindness. According to legend, as long as people continue to create pysanky, good will prevail over evil.
🥚 On April 8, second-grade students from Sokal Secondary School No. 4 participated in a workshop where they tried their hands at pysanka-making for the first time. Their careful hands and curious expressions turned the creative process into a touching moment of artistic discovery and emotional healing during wartime.
✨ Sincere thanks to craftswoman Nadiya Mykolaivna Melnyk and class teacher Maria Bohdanivna Kysil for their guidance and care for the young artists.
💙💛 Special gratitude goes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose protection makes it possible to learn, create, and spread joy.
🥀 Another workshop on April 10 welcomed a diverse group of participants, including students, club members from “Native Land. Sokal Region,” led by Nadiya Pynka, teachers, parents, and children with special needs accompanied by their guardians. This gathering became a true family celebration, where every pysanka embodied the child’s inner world.
👨👩👧 Teacher Nadiya Mykhailivna Pynka emphasized the importance of family engagement: shared activities create memories, build traditions, and pass on skills from parents to children.
