The Lviv City Council and the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of the Lviv Region reported to Holos Sokalshchyny about a large-scale accident in Lviv Oblast involving a truck and a bus.
At 10:20 a.m. today, the Rescue Service received a report of a road accident in the village of Davydiv, Lviv district.
Today, on 17 July, at around 10:10 a.m., an accident involving a suburban minibus “Lviv-Vybranivka” and a train occurred in the village of Davydiv on the Mukachevo-Ivano-Frankivsk-Lviv motorway. As a result, 7 victims, including a 4-year-old girl, were taken to the hospitals of the First Medical Unit of Lviv. According to the police, there are also deaths.
“The girl was hospitalised at St Nicholas Hospital. She has a concussion, a closed head injury, bruises on her face and body. The child’s mother is also in the children’s hospital. The woman suffered a concussion, lacerations to her leg, and bruises to her face and body. Medics are preparing to transport the woman to St Panteleimon’s Hospital,” the First Medical Unit of Lviv reported.
Another 5 victims were taken to St Luke’s Hospital. “Three patients are in moderate condition. They have fractured limbs and bruises.
Two patients are currently in serious condition. They were admitted to the intensive care unit. A 55-year-old woman is in the most serious condition. She has an open head injury and lung damage. She is currently undergoing surgery.
Patients are being further examined. They are receiving all the necessary medical care,” said the First Medical Association of Lviv.
