Four people fined in Drohobych community for breaching public amenity rules

In the Drohobych community, four people have been fined for breaching the Rules for the Maintenance of Public Amenities in the community. The decision was taken by the administrative commission under the executive committee of Drohobych City Council.

The commission met on 10 June under the chairmanship of the deputy head of the administrative commission, Iryna Kushnir. Four cases of administrative offences were brought for consideration, relating to non-compliance with the requirements of current Ukrainian legislation and local public amenity rules.

Three reports concerned breaches of waste management rules, in particular the disposal of rubbish at container sites in contravention of the established procedure. Another report was drawn up over the unauthorised planting of greenery.

Following its consideration of the cases, the administrative commission issued four rulings imposing administrative penalties. The fines were set in amounts ranging from 20 to 50 tax-exempt minimum incomes of citizens, in accordance with current legislation.

Under the rulings adopted, the fines must be paid within 15 days of service. Offenders must submit documents confirming payment to the administrative commission under the executive committee of Drohobych City Council.

The administrative commission urges residents of the community to comply with the Rules for the Maintenance of Public Amenities in the settlements of the Drohobych urban territorial community and with waste management rules. In particular, it is prohibited to leave rubbish outside containers or to dump construction or bulky waste at container sites, as order in the community depends on each person's responsible attitude towards the environment and shared property.
