In the Lviv region, the police uncovered illegal actions by a state registrar who entered falsified data into the state register of property rights on real estate. According to the investigation, the 33-year-old official of the municipal enterprise altered ownership information on a non-residential building on Hородоцька Street in Lviv, causing an unlawful change of ownership in favor of a private individual.
The operation to apprehend the criminal was carried out through the joint efforts of the investigators from the Lviv District Police Department and the operatives from the Cybercrime Prevention Unit. The suspect has been notified of suspicion under an article that provides for penalties in the form of fines or corrective labor.
Currently, the pre-trial investigation into the circumstances of the case and further illegal actions of the official in abusing her authority continues.
