“Strictly follow the traffic rules and remember that you are waiting at home,” – the commander of the motor patrol
In April and May of this year in the Lviv region, police recorded 62 traffic accidents involving motorcycles and scooters.
Of these, 46 accidents with victims, in which, unfortunately, killed 8 people and injured – 52 people.
Here are the rules that can save your life and health:
🏍 before getting behind the wheel of a two-wheeler, carefully check its technical condition;
🏍 Be sure to wear a helmet;
🏍 do not forget to take the driver’s license and registration document for motor vehicles, as driving without them is prohibited;
🏍 on the road give signals in advance that warn of the maneuver;
🏍 on descents and turns with limited visibility, reduce speed and keep to the right edge of the roadway;
🏍 Always keep in mind that having a passenger makes it harder to keep the motorcycle in balance.
By the way, since the beginning of June in the territory of Lviv region 4 road accidents involving motorcycles were recorded, where 5 people were injured.
“I emphasize safe speed to motorcycle drivers. I remind car drivers that they should look in the mirrors more often during each maneuver.
