“In order to make Lviv region safe, we need to start this process in every corner of the region,” Maksym Kozytskyi said.

Today, as part of the presentation of the Vision system of high-precision recognition of people and cars, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi addressed the communities of Lviv region and their leaders. The head of the region stressed the importance of installing video surveillance cameras to ensure law and order within the territorial communities.

“Thanks to the authorities of the city of Lviv and the funds of the European Union, 700 video surveillance cameras will be installed this year, which will increase the existing base in quantity and quality. But in order to make Lviv region safe, it is necessary to start this process in every corner of the region, so I invite all communities in the region to join this project. This will create safe living conditions for residents of villages and towns of territorial communities of the region, “said the head of the administration.

Maksym Kozytskyi called on the communities of Lviv region to join the development of their video surveillance systems.

“The more cameras we connect, the more tools the police will have to quickly solve crimes. This is important both in times of war and in peacetime. Therefore, it is necessary to invest in community budgets for the installation of video surveillance cameras so that community residents feel safe in all parts of the region, “the head of the region added.
