The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Lviv and the Economic Court of the Lviv Region have decided to collect 2 million 968 thousand UAH from developers who unjustly retained these funds. According to city-adm.lviv.ua, these funds should have been paid as a participation contribution for the community’s infrastructure development.
The case involves two claims: 2 million 384 thousand UAH from LLC “Kanyon” and 583 thousand UAH from FOP Shevko O. According to the city’s legal department, until 2021, the law required developers to make a so-called participation contribution before the start of building operations.
These decisions may still be appealed, but the city is already trying to recover the money to direct it towards the development of Lviv’s roads, networks, schools, and kindergartens.
