Humanitarian aid for 4 regions arrived in Lviv region from Poland

In addition to Lviv Oblast, the Volyn, Rivne, and Zakarpattia Oblasts will receive ambulances.

Today, September 19, four “C” class ambulances arrived from Poland to the Lviv region. Transport of increased comfort allows medics to work in the most difficult conditions, because it has the necessary medical equipment.

The cars were transferred within the framework of the Interreg project “Lubelskie dla Ukrainy” for four regions: Lviv, Zakarpattia, Rivne and Volhynia. One ambulance was received by the Lviv Regional Center of Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine.

Honorary guests from the Republic of Poland personally handed over humanitarian aid.

“I want to thank our Polish friends and representatives of the Lublin Voivodeship, in particular, for their constant support of Ukraine. Lviv Oblast once again demonstrates its logistical potential to support all regions of Ukraine. In July of this year, together with colleagues from the Lublin Voivodeship, we already handed over ambulances and essential items to the Luhansk Region. We are open to cooperation, we do everything for our joint victory. Today’s aid is another demonstration that the civilized world supports Ukraine in its resistance to the Russian aggressor. Ambulances, medical equipment are a contribution to the most valuable thing – saving the lives of Ukrainian citizens,” said the deputy head of the Lviv OVA Yuriy Buchko.

Each car was equipped with infusion machines, defibrillators, patient monitors, suction machines, ventilators. Also, as part of humanitarian aid, the region will receive hemostatic agents, tourniquets, dressing materials and one generator each.

“Poland contributes not only to the victory of Ukraine, but also to the victory of good over evil, and democracy over tyranny. We helped and will help you, because today Ukrainians are fighting for the independence of the entire European society. All the ambulances are new and I hope they will serve medics well, because they save the lives of soldiers and civilians,” said Vice Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship Zbigniew Wojciechowski.
