On 02 February, at 17:45, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in Mostyska on B. Khmelnytsky Street, Yavoriv district. The fire started in a car Volkswagen Passat B4.
Rescuers of the 26th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Mostyska were sent to the scene.
When the rescuers arrived at the scene, black smoke was coming out from under the bonnet of the car.
At 17:59, the firefighters contained the fire and extinguished it at 18:02.
The fire destroyed the engine compartment over an area of 0.5 square metres.
The firefighters managed to quickly extinguish the fire, prevent the rapid spread of combustible elements and save the car from complete destruction by fire.
Three firefighters and one unit of special equipment were engaged in the firefighting operations.
