Anya Kudzia, a restorer of works of art, a teacher at the Warsaw Academy of Arts, collected funds, bought and herself brought to Ukraine thousands of first-aid kits for our defenders
In Poland, she started the campaign UkrainaPomagamy.
“Anya Kudzia heads a Polish-Ukrainian group of restorers who have been working in Lviv, Kamianets-Podilskyi, and Zhovki for several years. The war caught Anya at work in Egypt, and she returned to Poland on the first flight and started the UkrainaPomagamy campaign. Since the beginning of the war, Anya collected funds, purchased and herself brought thousands of IFAK first-aid kits to Ukraine, which saved more than one life of our soldiers,” said Liliya Onishchenko, head of the historical environment protection department of the LMR.
We will remind you that from the first days of the war, Polish partners responded to the call to help Lviv and Ukrainian cities protect cultural monuments from possible destruction. So, thanks to partners from the Ministry of Culture of Poland, the Polonik Institute and the Polish Cultural Heritage Fund, as well as all the caring Poles, Lviv received 3 wagons of materials to secure our monuments and fire extinguishers.
