Today, April 29, on the eve of the Border Guard Day, the memory of the border guards who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country was commemorated in Lviv.
Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy, Minister of Veteran Affairs of Ukraine Yuliya Laputina, regional leadership and border guards laid flowers at the graves of Heroes at the Lychakiv Cemetery.
In addition, Border Guard Day in Ukraine is celebrated annually on April 30.
