On December 31 at 1:45 p.m., the Rescue Service “101” received a report of an emergency on Chubynsky Street in Sambir. A 73-year-old man had fallen into a well and was unable to climb out on his own.
Rescuers from the 12th State Fire and Rescue Unit in Sambir promptly arrived at the scene.
Using specialized equipment, the rescuers successfully pulled the man from the well and handed him over to medical personnel for evaluation.
The timely response of the rescuers prevented a potentially tragic outcome.
