Over the past day, 50 residents of Lviv sought medical assistance due to winter-related street injuries. All received treatment for minor injuries, such as bruises and ligament damage, without requiring hospitalization. Doctors emphasize the importance of following simple precautions to stay safe.

- Choose appropriate footwear.
Wear shoes with non-slip soles, preferably with spikes, for better traction during icy conditions. - Keep your hands free.
Avoid putting your hands in your pockets to better brace yourself and prevent injuries to your shoulders, head, or face in case of a fall. - Stay alert.
Pay attention to your surroundings, avoid distractions from gadgets, and watch your step. - If you fall:
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience head pain, nausea, or discomfort in the injured area after a fall.
