In the Lviv region, police officers are actively teaching children the rules of the road and how to behave safely on the streets.
In response to the increasing number of traffic accidents, police from the Main Inspectorate of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv region have initiated informational and educational sessions in schools in the region. “Community police officers and employees of the Lviv Police Education Security Service participated in the events”, the organizers noted. During meetings with students, law enforcement officers reminded children of the basic rules for safe behavior on the road, taught them how to correctly cross the roadway, and emphasized the necessity of using reflective elements.
Thanks to the dedication of the Main Inspectorate’s staff, the sessions turned into a lively dialogue with the children, which contributes to developing a responsible attitude towards their own safety. Such preventive measures play an important role in raising the level of legal awareness among students, nurturing a culture of safe behavior on the road, and are part of a systemic effort to reduce accident rates.
The holding of such training sessions is extremely necessary, as timely attention, care, and prevention today help preserve the lives and health of children in the future.
