Another scandalous decision on the renaming of the city, which was taken outside the scope of the powers, once again launched a wave of information garbage.
This was reported in the Chervonograd City Council
On June 22, the National Commission for State Language Standards adopted Decision No. 230 and recommends considering the possibility of renaming a number of Ukrainian cities. This decision also applies to Chervonograd and generates opposition from the townspeople due to fake allegations about financial expenses allegedly related to the replacement of passports, etc.
Does this oblige you to take immediate action, spending money at the same time? What are the consequences for ordinary citizens of changing the name of the street/town where the citizen lives?
Renaming does not create any household problems, no one has to immediately run to the National Register of Citizens’ Association to make a note of the new address. Re-registration may occur
📍when replacing the passport,
📍pasting new photo cards,
📍name changes, etc., that is, when a person has a need.
Documents certifying ownership of real estate remain valid even if the name of the street on which they are located changes. Such documents are changed only if necessary. For example, for buying and selling or donating real estate.
If the owner wants to sell, gift or bequeath his real estate, the NEW name will already be indicated in the documents that will be drawn up for a NEW person. This is not a separate notarial act.
