Renovation of the preschool began in 2021 at the expense of regional and local budgets.
Premises of a kindergarten in the village Hrebeniv has not been used as intended since 2020 – due to the lack of proper and safe conditions for children: outdated stove heating, wood-burning kitchen, lack of assembly and sports halls, etc. In this regard, parents had to take their children to preschools in Skole (12 km), and those who did not have such an opportunity left their children at home.

Thank you to the Department of Education and Science and the Department of Economics of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the regional council and the School community for all the efforts they put into the opening of the kindergarten. Thank you to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the fact that we now have the opportunity to open kindergartens and raise children in them, thank you to Skolivshchyna for raising such beautiful Ukrainians. We will do everything to ensure that they study, work and live in our glorious Ukraine!”, Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv OVA, said during the opening of the kindergarten.
Within the scope of the project, corridors, training rooms, a gym, changing rooms with showers and bathrooms, a lobby, a wardrobe, a kitchen block with production, auxiliary and household spaces, as well as an assembly hall were reconstructed, local sewage treatment facilities, underground water tanks were installed, and a physical education and sports hall was constructed. and educational and research zone; they expanded the area of the game room by 41 sq.m., replaced the stove heating with steam, furnished bedrooms, toilets, modernized the food block, for which kitchen and refrigeration equipment were purchased. We also bought children’s furniture for bedrooms and playrooms, insulated and painted the facade of the preschool building.
The playground was installed with the funds of subventions from the state budget to local budgets for the socio-economic development of certain territories in 2021.
The total estimated cost of the project reached almost 2.9 million hryvnias, of which over 1.9 million hryvnias were from the regional budget, and 940,465 thousand hryvnias were from the local budget.
Resumption of work of preschool building No. 4 p. Grebeniv will provide preschool education for 20 children from a village with 600 inhabitants. In addition, 5 jobs were created.
As noted by the head of the Skoliv Territorial Community, Mykola Romanyshin, the third kindergarten was opened in the community in less than three years.
“I am glad that we completed the reconstruction of the kindergarten building both inside and outside. We thank the regional military administration and the regional council for the allocated funds. A lot of good things can be done by joint efforts. In the Skolivska hromada, in less than three and a half years, we have already opened the third kindergarten! I hope that other communities will set the same example. Now our children will receive the kind of upbringing, comfort and coziness that young preschoolers should receive,” Mykola Romanyshyn emphasized.
