The name of the Russian mathematician was taken from the name of Lyceum No. 52 in Lviv

Today, at a session of the Lviv City Council, they voted to change the name of Lviv Lyceum No. 52, located on Gogol Street.

Previously, this educational institution was named after the Russian mathematician Mykola Lobachevsky, but now it will be called Lyceum No. 52 of the Lviv City Council.

Let’s add that the initiative was supported by lyceum employees, parents and students.
