According to Lvivvodokanal’s dispatch service, the company’s repair crews are replacing the emergency section of the Stare Selo-Sykhiv water supply line. Therefore, tomorrow, 14 February, from 10:00 am to 22:00 pm, water supply will be cut off to Stare Selo, Pasiki Zubrytski, Davydiv and 48 houses on Zelena Street.
In particular, the following houses will be left without water supply. Zelena, 320, 321b, 321a, 321, 323, 325, 327, 331, 331a, 333, 335, 337, 339, 341, 343, 345, 345a, 347, 349, 351, 351b, 351a, 353, 355, 355a, 357a, 357, 359, 359a, 361, 363, 365, 367, 369, 371, 371a, 373, 373a, 377, 379, 381, 383, 389 391, 393, 395, 397, 405.
“We have already replaced 200 metres of 500 mm diameter water pipe in the village of Pasiki Zubrytski, which comes from the water intake in Starye Selo, and switched the water supply. Now we are replacing the next section,” Lvivvodokanal explained.
Tomorrow, after the repair work is completed, the utility will flush the street water supply network. The company warns that during the flushing period, there may be a temporary deterioration in water quality: the colour of the water may become stained with iron oxide (rust), which is washed off the inner walls of the pipelines. Therefore, the company is asking to make the necessary water reserves for the duration of the repair and flushing.
