The other day, the Drohobytsk community suffered another painful loss – a young resident of Stebny, Ihor Lekhush, died while defending Ukraine from the enemy.
Ihor Lekhush was born on March 22, 2002. Lived in Stebnik. Studied at Stebnytsky Secondary School No. 11 and Drohobytsky Mechanical and Technological College.

Despite his young age, Ihor joined the ranks of defenders of Ukraine to defend his native country from the enemy.

The deceased is survived by his father, mother, brother, grandfather and grandmother.
Today, January 19, the Drohobytsk community met a fallen soldier at the Crossroads of Heroes. Relatives of the defender, brothers, colleagues, friends, caring residents of the community and the leadership of the Drohobych community gathered here, who, accompanied by clergymen, held a joint prayer.
From the Crossroads of Heroes, the funeral cortege headed to Stebnyk, where a large city-wide farewell and memorial service for the fallen soldier took place on the central Shevchenko Square.
After the city-wide farewell, a funeral ceremony was held in the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Stebnik.
The young defender of Ukraine, Ihor Lekhush, will be laid to rest at the cemetery on Mekelita Street in his hometown of Stebnyk.
