Today, the session of the Lviv City Council approved the program of promoting the implementation of certain territorial defense tasks by the voluntary formation of the Lviv City Territorial Community.
As Nataliya Alekseeva, head of affairs of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council, explained, the program provides for the implementation of a system of financial support for members of the volunteer formation involved in the performance of the tasks of the 125th Territorial Defense Brigade.
All the details of the procedure for such payments will be determined in a separate order, which will be approved later at a meeting of the executive committee.
It should be noted that in Lviv there is a city-wide program of support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to which the city purchases machinery and equipment for the front line at the request of the military, or transfers subventions to military units for this purpose. 1 billion hryvnias have been earmarked for this program from the city budget this year. And in general, the city of Lviv provides 2.1 billion hryvnias for all military support programs this year.
