In the Sambir region, children make talismans for the military on the front lines

A series of master classes is conducted by the humanitarian department of the Old Sambir City Council. During them, children make their own talismans for servicemen on the front line, as well as thematic greeting cards. Last week – to mothers.

Thus, in the local history museum, children of primary school age made talismans in their pockets. They will be sent to the military, which is defending the country on the front line.

Also in the Old Sambir Public Library, children made postcards for Mother’s Day.

Children who were forced to leave their homes due to the war and find temporary shelter in the Sambir region also take part in master classes.

“In this difficult time for Ukraine, when children study remotely, we try to give them the opportunity to be in society, as well as learn useful things. Because the war affects everyone, including children who are far from the line of contact. We also involve IDP children in the Old Sambir community. The same amulets at the forefront – they are positive on two sides: support for those who defend the state, and importance for children – they understand that they made a small contribution to victory, “- said the head of the humanitarian department of the Old Sambir City Council Olga Koval.
