On December 6, the Defender of Ukraine, sergeant Viktor Volodymyrovych Sybal, a resident of the city of Sokal, died during a combat encounter with the enemy and shelling in the area of Opytne settlement of the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region. He was called up for military service on June 3, 2022, served as a grenade launcher in military unit A0998.
