The heart of 32-year-old Hero Roman Kalysh, a resident of the village of Ostrov, stopped beating prematurely.
This was reported by Iryna Chipak, the head of the village of Ostrov, on her website.
Roman twice stood up to defend Ukraine – first in the ATO zone, and again from the first days of the full-scale invasion. For health reasons, Roman Kalysh was discharged from service.
Tomorrow, the community of his native village of Ostrov will pay their last respects to the Hero, where the burial ceremony will take place. We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Roman Kalysh and bow our heads in sorrow.
