Dear Sokal community! Tonight, the body of the fallen Hero Boris Stepaniuk will be brought to his native home.
We call on all the residents of the community to put aside all matters and meet the Hero in his native land in a “living corridor” with flowers, lamps, and flags, because he gave his life for each of us.
We will meet the cortege with the body of our Defender approximately at 6-7 p.m. We ask the residents of Sokal to go to the Church of Saints Peter and Paul and say goodbye to Boris Stepaniuk, who laid down his young life for each of us.
A memorial service for the deceased Defender will be held near the Heroes’ stele.
Next, the motorcade will pass through Yavornytskogo Street in Sokal, through the villages of Ilkovichi and Svytazyv, we ask people to go out to the road and meet the Hero. After that, a parastas for the deceased will be held at his native home in the village of Svitaziv. The funeral is scheduled for tomorrow at 12:00. Transportation to the funeral has been organized from Sokal, the bus will leave on November 25 at 11:00 a.m. from the Viktor Matyuk School of Arts.
