Today, on October 1, a faithful son of Ukraine, Vitaliy Budzinsky, returned home to his native land on a shield for eternal rest
Today, the Sokal community said goodbye to the defender Budzinsky Vitaliy. The sad news was reported by Yuriy Korin.
At 15.00, near the church of Ss. Peter and Paul Church with flags, lamps, fresh flowers, the community met our Hero, who laid down his young life for each of us.
From now on, he will be 26 forever. Residents of Sokal, fellow villagers and guests of the city met the Hero in his native land with a human corridor.
With tears in their eyes, feelings of regret and despair, the community residents came out to the main road to meet the body of the fallen Hero with dignity.
The brave warrior defended not only Ukraine, but also each of us, our freedom and independence. Human life is priceless, the soul is immortal, and the memory of the Heroes is eternal!” said Yuriy Korin.
“May God’s care and our prayers ease the bitterness of loss and family grief.
After the meeting in Sokal, the funeral cortege travelled to the village of Potoritsa, where a parastas will be held. On Wednesday, 02 October, at 13.00, the funeral service for Vitaliy Budzinsky will begin.

On 26 September 2024, near the village of Nelipivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, while performing combat missions to repel the enemy, as a result of mortar shelling of enemy positions, our young warrior, full of prosperity and strength, BUDZINSKYI Vitaliy Oleksandrovych, born on 23.03.1998, a resident of the village of Potorytsia, sustained an incompatible with life injury.
