Ukrainian Defender Mykhailo Myakush from Stebnyk Perished

A warrior from Stebnyk, Mykhailo Yaroslavovych Myakush, gave his life for Ukraine. Since May 2024, he had been performing combat missions on the front line. Born on April 22, 1971, in the city of Stebnyk, he graduated from local school No. 7 and continued his education at a vocational lyceum. He worked as a mechanic in Truskavets. In May 2024, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served as a machine gunner in the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. He died during battles for his homeland. He is survived by his wife, brother, children, and grandchildren. The Drohobych City Council expresses condolences to the Hero’s family and loved ones.
