The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, awarded the 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, located in Drohobych region, with a combat flag.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the brigade commander, Colonel Oleksandr Popov, to the Mariinsky Palace in the capital.
In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the combat flag is a symbol of honor, valor, and glory and obliges every serviceman to serve the Ukrainian people faithfully, courageously, skillfully and steadfastly defend the Ukrainian state, without sparing his life. The battle flag is always with its military unit, and on the battlefield – in the area of hostilities in which the unit participates.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, servicemen of the 15th separate brigade (military unit A1108) have been participating in military operations to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the defense of its borders. They’re where it’s really hot. They fight for our freedom, for our independence, for our children. Great respect, honor and respect for them!” – said the Drogobitsky District Military Administration.
