Tomorrow will mark the commemoration of the fallen warrior from Stebnyk, Mykhailo Myakush, who heroically died defending Ukraine. He was born on April 22, 1971, in the city of Stebnyk and graduated from School No. 7 and Stebnyk Vocational College. He worked as a mechanic at a car service station in Truskavets. In May 2024, he was conscripted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served as a machine gunner in the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. The hero’s life was cut short on the front line.
- The funeral procession will arrive at the Drohobych community on March 11.
- A meeting at the Heroes’ Crossroad is scheduled for 12:30.
- Farewell at Shevchenko Square in Stebnyk will start at 13:00.
The funeral will take place at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, and the hero will be buried at the cemetery on Mekelyty street. Eternal memory to the Hero of Ukraine!
