American traveller Matt Davis appeared on Studio 10, where he spoke about his three-week road trip around Italy and offered advice for those planning a holiday in the country.
In conversation with host Kristina, he explained that he had driven across Italy, visiting different regions and getting the chance to experience local culture and landscapes from a variety of perspectives. Davis shared practical tips on planning an itinerary, organising the trip and how best to balance visits to major cities with time in less touristy locations.
On his way back from Italy, the traveller stopped off in Iceland, which he described as one of the most memorable parts of the journey. He briefly touched on his impressions of the country and its natural scenery.
On 26 August, Davis will be speaking at the Barrington Public Library, giving a public talk on US national parks. During the event, visitors will be able to hear more stories from his travels and learn about opportunities for holidays in America’s national parks.
