The Brunicki Manor in Velykyi Liubin is a prime example of how architectural heritage can be integrated into modern life and serve the community. This historical ensemble is based on a 17th-century castle, which was later transformed into a palace by the Yablonowski family in 1845. The building subsequently came into the possession of Baron Konstanty Brunicki, whose crest still adorns the entrance.
In the early 20th century, the palace underwent extensive renovation, acquiring lavish neo-Baroque decoration. Today, it houses a municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council—the “Velykolyubinskyi Multiprofile Educational and Rehabilitation Centre“, which is the result of major restoration in the 2000s supported by a Swiss philanthropist.
Adjacent to the palace is a park featuring garden and park art pieces, maintaining their splendour among chestnut and pine trees. The manor is situated just 200 metres from the Lviv – Sambir highway, making it an attractive point on the region’s tourist map as well.
