21-year-old Volodymyr Savchyn showed the third result at the distance of 500 meters in the canoe-four. The representative of Lviv Oblast chose the award together with colleagues from other regions — Oleksandr Yatsyuk from Volyn, Artem Chetvertak from Zaporizhzhia, and Taras Kuzyk from Poltava Oblast.
Volodymyr mastered rowing at the Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School “Veslyarik” and the Lviv Regional Organization of the FST “Kolos”. The athlete is trained by Mykhailo Potsyurko and Volodymyr Dec.
A prize of 30,000 hryvnias is waiting for the athlete from the youth and sports department of Lviv OVA for the medal of the world competition.
We will remind you that the World Youth Kayaking and Canoeing Championship continues in Italy. The entire Lviv region is represented at the competition by 9 athletes. Our region has the largest representation in the national team.
