The building will house nature protection research departments and the park administration.
First Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ruslan Grechanyk visited the “Northern Podillia” National Nature Park.
During the visit, he handed over to the park representatives the keys to the building of the former division of the Basin Management of Water Resources of the Western Bug and Syan Rivers, which is located in the village of Yaseniv of Zolochiv district.
To participate in the meeting also joined T.V.O. the director of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources, Oksana Viytyk, and the head of the Water Resources Basin Management of the Western Bug and Syan rivers, Roman Tutskyi.
“This building will house the nature protection scientific research department and the administration of the Northern Podillia National Nature Park.” Despite the fact that the park will soon turn 13 years old, the issue of the administrative premises remained unresolved. From today, the house is located in the village of Yaseniv. I believe that all conditions will be created here for high-quality work and development of the protected object,” said Ruslan Grechanyk.
Oksana Viytyk noted that there is an opportunity to equip an environmental education center in the building. To this end, the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources is ready to assist in establishing contacts between the park and Polish nature protection institutions in order to attract funds for international technical assistance.
