Ukrainian-Danish Youth Dim and Space for Design and Media Pixlab start the project “Monumentalka”. Tse urbanistic practice, as a result of which young people develop street art and monumentalism and paint murals near different districts of Lviv
Project “Monumentalka” (a slang word, how to call monumental painting) to cover up to 6 districts of Lviv, de teams of young mitzvos and mystkins to create author’s murals, inhaling the theme “Light will overcome the darkness.” The meta project is to add brightness to the houses near the sleeping areas of the city, relying on the successful practices of Ukraine and Denmark. Students and female students of mystetsky directly can not only implement their own projects, but at the same time, with their fullness, find that visualization of those ideas and sensi that will unite us in a folding hour.
Starting the project, young artists and artists, who practice the styles of street art and monumentalism, can add a portfolio. The “Monumentalka” can be reached by creative managers and managers – they will help you to make connections with the community, or rather, you will need to present ideas far away.
Within the boundaries of the project “Monumentalka” there will be 5 lectures by Danish and Ukrainian experts dedicated to different stages of the creation of murals. All lectures are easily accessible and cost-free for the mind and earlier registration.
The mentor of the project is Sergiy Radkevich, a famous muralist, graduate of the Lviv Academy of Arts, winner of various arts and international awards, and the author of murals in different places of Ukraine.
