In Veliki Hrybovychy, they want to create the first mural in the community – on the facade of the People’s House building. We will remind you that in the premises of the institution temporary housing was arranged for families from the de-occupied and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
The mural, in fact, should perpetuate the role of the People’s House as a shelter for Ukrainians who were forced to flee the war. The organizers also want this location to become the heart of the community in the future.
The mural will be created within the City Workshop, and the mural painting will be chosen on a competitive basis.
Therefore, the department of urban agglomeration and KU Institute of the city invite students of art majors, artists or even amateurs to participate in a competition to create a sketch of a mural.
“There are no special requirements regarding the theme of the mural. It can be an abstraction, a drawing based on folk motifs, etc. One request is to take into account the color scheme of the front wall. The best sketch will be used to create a mural, the name of the winner will be indicated next to it,” said the Department of Urban Agglomeration of the LMR.
You can send proposals for sketches here – until July 30 inclusive.
