According to the public accusation of prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the appellate court upheld the sentence against a 44-year-old Lviv resident sentenced to life imprisonment for premeditated murder of two persons and attempted premeditated murder (paragraph 1 part 2 of Article 115, part 2 Article 15 – Clause 1 Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established and the court confirmed that on the night of February 26-27, 2016, the convict went downstairs to his neighbors, who were celebrating his birthday at the time, and killed the owner of the apartment and her guest. In addition, the suspect stabbed the victim’s sister, the latter was rescued by medics who arrived on time.
The court upheld the well-founded position of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and upheld the verdict.
