The prosecutors of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv sent an indictment to the court against a 29-year-old man. He was charged with illegal acquisition, storage with the purpose of sale of particularly dangerous narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances in particularly large quantities, as well as illegal storage without the purpose of sale of particularly dangerous narcotic drugs (Part 3 of Article 307, Part 1 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that in September 2023 in Lviv, the accused illegally purchased and stored cannabis, MDMA, amphetamine, PVP and mephedrone in the basement of the house. It was intended to sell the “goods” in the future.
According to the results of a search at the residence of a Lviv resident, cannabis extract was found and seized, which he kept for his own use.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv Region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
