The tragic death of the young Sokal football player Matvyi Nazar was reported in F.K. Rukh-Sokal, born in 2010, who was an extremely talented athlete.

The traffic accident happened on February 25, around 7:45 p.m., near the village of Horbkiv, Chervonograd district. The communication department of the police of the Lviv region reported about the extraordinary event.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of the Jeep Cherokee, a 52-year-old resident of Sokal, hit a pedestrian, a 13-year-old resident of the same city.
The boy died at the scene from injuries received as a result of the accident.
