The commercial court satisfied the claim of the Galician district prosecutor’s office of the city of Lviv against the economic entity for the termination of the lease agreement, the return of non-residential premises to state ownership and debt collection.
Prosecutors established that the defendant rented non-residential premises with a total area of almost 970 square meters. The latter are located on one of the streets of Lviv.
However, the company for a long time evaded the fulfillment of the obligation under the contract, namely, did not pay the rent for the use of the premises. The amount owed by the defendant to the state budget amounted to more than UAH 500,000.
Therefore, the prosecutors appealed to the court with a corresponding lawsuit, which was fully satisfied by the court.
