Most passengers in Lviv were refunded for double transactions that occurred in February
Passengers will be refunded the funds that were overcharged when paying for travel with bank cards on 23 February this year.
As a reminder, the financial core of the e-ticket contractor malfunctioned and some passengers who paid for their travel by bank card that day were charged double the fare. As of today, more than half of the erroneous transactions have been refunded.
All “doubling” is planned to be returned by the end of next week.
The utility company stressed that the refunds to passengers’ accounts are made automatically. The passenger receives information about the crediting of funds through notifications in his or her phone application.
“Before starting this process, it took time for the contractor, the Czech company Microelectronics, to identify erroneous transactions and test the automatic refund mechanism.
Since March and as of now, people have been refunded for more than 18 thousand “double” transactions. We plan to complete this process next week. Therefore, passengers who have not yet been refunded for “double” payments will receive notifications on their phones in the coming days about the refund,” Lvivavtodor said.
